OPHTHALMOLOGY
The Department of Opthalmology has procured latest equipment like – YAG LASER, GREEN LASER, Fundus Camera, Phacoemulsification Machine, Automated Perimeter and A-Scan.
The department provides facilities like: Phacoemulsification, IOL implantation, Keratoplasty, Eye Bank, Fundus Fluorescein Angiography, Pan Retinal Photocoagulation, Ocular injuries and congenital cataract surgery.
Apart from this the department also provides facilities of community ophthalmology like; Free Eye Camps, under DBCS, Kalaburagi and NGO Hamara Bandhan, Germany, Eye Donation camps and Blind school survey and examination. Free spectacles, food and conveyance will be provided to all the camp patients.
