Brief Introduction: Established in 1964 under Dr. Y Appaji. PG started in 1979-80, expanded in 2007 under HOD & Dean.
Academic Program: Includes theory, tutorials, histology practicals, dissection as per MCI norms, seminars, interdepartmental discussions, and frequent assessments.
Details of Program: Dissection 2 hrs/day, 5 days/week, histology practicals in batches, PGs engage in research under qualified staff.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped dissection hall, embalming unit, advanced histology lab, cytogenetics lab, demo rooms, library with 400+ books, museum with 400+ specimens.
Achievements: Hosted Golden Jubilee National Conference in 2002, quiz competitions, medical education fellowships for faculty, regular participation in conferences and publications.
Department Association: Integrated PG teaching with various departments.
